The ability to adapt is key to a successful market and political system and NCSD believes that the more societies share their experiences and "lessons learned," the faster the adoption of solutions. The shared values can only be shared if all sides can and do communicate effectively. Understanding of shared values is the first step to cooperation and ultimately the peaceful ability to share the planet in a way that provides as much opportunity for achievement for future generations as was received by the previous generation.
