• Pan Ai Hua
Mr. Pan Ai Hua, was born in October 1958, Tongdao County in Hunan Province. Mr. Pan got MB (Bachelor of Medicine) degree from Hunan Medicine University in 1984, then hold Master of Engineering from China Aerospace Medicine Engineering Institute in 1989, and in 1991, he got doctor of DSc in chemistry from Peking University, he has held the positions of Assistant researcher of China Aerospace Medicine Engineering Institute in 1989, the Associate Professor of Biotechnology Department of Peking University in 1992 and professor and senior Engineer of Peking University in1994. In 1998, Mr. Pan was appointed as a senior fellow of Beijing Market Economy Institute. He is the Chairman of China Bioway Biotech Group Co., Ltd., the Chairman of Sinovac Biotech Co., Ltd., the Chairman of Beijing Bioway KaiTuo Agricultural Biotech Co., Ltd., the Chairman of China bio-economy Group Co., Ltd.; he is also the Executive Director of China Bioengineering Society, the Director of Industry Promotion Association China National Bioengineering Society, the Vice Director of China Medicinal Biotech Association.
From 1993 to 1996, he served as Deputy Director of Biotechnology Department of Peking University. Mr. Pan received the honorary title of outstanding worker of "Plan 863" from the state Science & Technology Commission in 1992, and PKU awarded him for his outstanding contributions to hi-tech industry development in 1993, he won the First-Class Prize for Science & Technology progress presented by National Education Commission of China in 1994 and "The Third Session of China Outstanding Young Persons Award for technology start-ups" (Ten Outstanding Young for technology start-ups) awarded by CYL Central Committee, Ministry of Science and Technology, All-China Youth Federation; In 1999, he was selected to be one of "the Chinese Top Ten Elite Talents for New Millennium" by the Ministry of Science & Technology of China; He he successively won the Golden Prize of the Third Session of Youth Science and Technology Award by Shenzhen Municipality in 2000 and "the Top Ten Chinese Economy Elite" in 2006; From 1991 to 1995, Dr. Pan took charge of National 863 topics "protein engineering of Metallothionein", began to preside a key project of the National "plan 863" of China- "the large-scale preparation technology of nucleic acid and peptide drug" in 2007 and was in charge of the research project "large-scale synthesis and purification of peptide drug". Moreover, he has published more than 20 articles in national and abroad academic journals.
• Cao Wen Bo
Mr. Cao Wen Bois the Co-founder and General Manager of PKU WeiMingHeYi biological Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., which is a bio-environmental enterprise in the six areas of bio-economy system including bio-medicine, bio-agriculture, bio-energy, bio-environmental, bio-manufacturing and bio-services and the most strategic investment enterprise of SinoBioway Group. The company mainly devotes to four fields of business: solid waste treatment, environmental services, design and engineering and devotes to the introduction and development of advanced world environmental protection technology.
Mr. Cao cofounded "PKU Green Technology Co. LTD" in 2001 with "College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering" and "College of Environmental Science and Engineering" of Peking University and held the post of vice chairman. The company grew up to Beijing's star enterprise after five years of operation and was purchased by top 500 companies Cargill in 2005, realizing the dozens of times revenue.
Mr. Cao founded "Potential Leadership Cultural Development International Co. Ltd." in 2007. The company cooperates with "Institute of Beijing City Development" and "State Council Development Research Centre" to provide sustainable development mode design for sustainable development of cities and consulting services for low carbon development.
Mr. Cao has rich experience in the construction of ecological ecosystems. The ecological remediation technology for the bare slope he led and researched reached the international advanced level. Mr. Cao is skilled in city planning, regional development planning and new functional areas landscape design, and assumed many planning and design tasks.
Mr. Cao served as landscape adviser in China's national air force general armaments department and Liaoning coastal economic zone. He is a member of expert group for "US national sustainable development center" and a member of professional committee for "Lawn Branch in Chinese Society of Grasslands". Mr. Cao holds a B.S. degree in economics, a M.S. Degree in Agricultural Extension (Landscape Architecture) from Beijing Forest University and a Doctoral Degree in Management Science and Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology.
• John P. Mackey, Esq.
John P. Mackey, Esq. was formerly Republican Investigative Counsel for the House Foreign Affairs Committee (1992-2008) where as a staff member he played a leading role in development of the successful Plan Colombia assistance program and its oversight and effective implementation. In addition, he helped develop the outlines of the Merida aid initiative for Mexico in recent years to fight crime and illicit narcotics based on many lessons from Colombia. He handled oversight inquiries and investigation, as well as the issues of international terrorism, narcotics control, and global organized crime, particularly in the former Soviet Union. He has played a major staff role in the fight against "narco-terrorism" in America's own hemisphere working closely with the Colombian National Police (CNP), and also developed Afghanistan counter-drug initiatives to counter the Taliban resurgence financed in large part by illicit drugs and gained the support of the CNP to help train and share lessons learned for use in South Asia. A lawyer by trade, Mr. Mackey previously served as a special agent of the FBI in posts in Peoria, Chicago, New York, and San Francisco, among other assignments. He later practiced law in New York City for several years, before returning to government service in both the Reagan and Bush One Administrations. Before his long posting on Capitol Hill, he served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General, and an Associate Deputy Attorney General in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), where he handled both legislative affairs and the confirmations of federal judges (including to the U.S. Supreme Court) and key Justice Department nominees before the U.S. Senate.
• Paul Dickerson, Esq.
Paul Dickerson, Esq. is a recognized leader and sought-after speaker on issues of clean tech and energy efficiency. His is a partner at the law firm of Haynes and Boone, LLP, where he launched the firm's Clean Tech practice group in 2008. Paul served as Chief Operating Officer of the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) from 2006 until his return to Haynes and Boone (where he worked as an associate from 2000 to 2005). He oversaw the EERE's $1.8 billion budget and helped move alternative and renewable energy technologies from the "vision" stage to real-world development. Paul is knowledgeable on the pressing needs of the global energy market and regularly speaks about the tangible, real-world solutions that can be implemented now, from increasing efficiency, bio-fuels, solar and wind investments, to connecting venture capitalists with the cutting-edge scientific researchers in the field of sustainable energy. He also served as Chief of Staff for the United States and Foreign Commercial Service at the U.S. Department of Commerce. While at the Commerce Department, Paul was responsible for day-to-day management of the Commercial Service's worldwide network of 1,700 employees in 260 offices and for directing the implementation of the Commercial Service's worldwide priorities and policies. Paul has extensive experience with corporate turn-arounds and holds great knowledge about the new wave of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies that will power America and the world in the 21st century. Under his leadership, the Department of Energy changed its direction toward commercialization of technology and quickened the pace of moving these groundbreaking energy solutions from the laboratory to the international marketplace. He now helps Haynes and Boone clients as they continue to develop products and businesses in the Clean Tech arena, in the U.S. and abroad. Paul, who is also a certified public accountant, has published numerous articles and frequently appears on the media circuit discussing politics, business, taxation, financing and other issues relevant to international trade and business. Through articles, interviews and speeches, he has appeared regularly in the local, statewide, nationwide and international press, including frequent citations in the New York Times and the Houston Chronicle.
• Michael K. Studer
Michael K. Studer serves as a Special Advisor to the Chairman of GreenHunter Energy, Inc. Mr. Studer served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of GreenHunter Energy, Inc., since May 2006 until June 30, 2008. During the 3 years prior to joining Green Hunter, Mr. Studer was involved in investment activities in acquiring environmentally impacted real estate for redevelopment. During the prior 12 years, Mr. Studer founded Entact, Inc. and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Studer served as an Executive Vice President in an environmental services company specializing in providing design/build services to the Petroleum industry. Mr. Studer served as a Director of GreenHunter Energy, Inc., from May 2006 to June 6, 2008. Mr. Studer holds four patents for the processing and treatment hazardous materials. Mr. Studer received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University in 1982.
• Tom Mackey
Tom Mackey is EVP of Mitsubishi Polycrystalline Silicon America Corporation and has 26 years experience in the environmental and nonferrous metal businesses of tin, tungsten, silicon and the rare earth metals of neodymium, praseodymium and dysprosium. He has extensive experience in managing environmental and none ferrous metal operations specifically in the extraction, refining, purification and alloying of environmentally sounded nonferrous metals and products. He is experienced in plant operations and management and has been involved in the start up of two new plants, one for the production of rare earth metals, alloys and powders for high strength permanent magnets and another for the production of high purity polycrystalline silicon for semiconductor and photovoltaic applications. He is the member of Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society (TMS), American Society for Metals (ASM), Boy Scouts of America, Texas A&M Association of Former Students, Board Member American Red Cross Mobile Chapter, Board Member and Steering Committee Member Mitsubishi Polycrystalline Silicon America Corporation, Past Board Member: Neomet Corporation, Airtrust Group, Malaysian Titanium Corporation, Reactive Metals and Minerals Corporation. Mr. Mackey has a Master of Business Administration, The University of Houston, Clear Lake City, Texas 1984 and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with minor in Material Science, Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, 1978.
• Eugene Y. Chang
Eugene Y. Chang is the founder, and presently serves as Chairman and President of Acquire Assets Corporation ("AAC"), which was formed to explore investment opportunities in China and bridge the gap between China and the global market. AAC is presently contracted by several foreign private equity funds to manage their investment projects in China. Mr. Chang has over 25 years experience in international investment, started with a focus on futures and financial derivatives structuring and trading in 1986. He has extensive experience in fund management and derivatives trading of a number of different asset classes. Mr. Chang also serves as a longtime consultant and advisor to multinational financial corporations, including Franklin Templeton Family of Funds, Tano Capital (PE/VC arm of Franklin Templeton), and Great Wall Group, as well as local Chinese enterprises, including CITIC Group, Teda Holdings, Airtrust Group, Bigland International Investment, China Steel Group, Silk Street Group, Fa Zheng Group, China Raybo Group and DaChan Group. Mr. Chang is also a Financial Advisor to Tianjin City Government to assist Tianjin in establishing a new financial set of mechanisms in the development of Tianjin Binhai New District. Prior to AAC, Mr. Chang served as Chairman of the Taipei Futures Association from 1994 to 1999, and was a founding Director of the Board of the Taiwan Futures Exchange, during which time he pioneered the financial derivatives and structured product market in Taiwan. Prior to this, Mr. Chang was a Senior Partner at Pacific Capital Resources Group from 1991 to 1994, a multinational private equity and real estate investment group, with major holdings in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Hawaii, Reno and Las Vegas, in which he was responsible for the group's market entry strategies for Taiwan and China. In 1987, Mr. Chang founded KBMS, Inc. in Los Angeles to launch trading funds registered under Dean Witter Reynolds, focused on arbitrage trading between instruments, such as OEX and options on SP500 futures, currencies, long and short Treasuries, cross market commodities arbitrage, equities indices and the like. KBMS was considered one of the pioneers in the Hedge Fund sector. Mr. Chang sold KBMS to Dean Witter Reynolds in 1994, with a fund size exceeding US$200 million. From 1985 to 1987, Mr. Chang was a trader and product designer of derivative products for Pinecrown International, a specialty fund management company. Mr. Chang is also an Ambassador and Advisory Board Member of the National Center for Sustainable Development, a U.S. based national 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization established in 2001 and headquartered in Washington, DC. Mr. Chang received an Engineering Degree in Hydraulics Engineering form National Taiwan University, a Master's Degree in Hydraulics Engineering from U.C. Berkeley and a Master in Finance from U.C. Berkeley's Haas School, specialized in financial derivatives for financial risk management.
